Why Do Metal Core Scooter Wheels Make Sounds Why Do Scientist Believe That The Earth's Core Is Metal?

Why do scientist believe that the Earth's core is metal? - why do metal core scooter wheels make sounds

An analysis of the periodic table of elements to show how.

You can tell by how earthquake waves through the earth.

Imagine a long feather. If you take one end and up and down the longitudinal waves along the spring. If you push in and out of one end to another, then you get the pressure waves. If you rotate one side then the other, then get a different kind of. Therefore, the different types of waves in liquids and solids stay in different ways. Sometimes went, sometimes blocked, which sometimes reflect and sometimes they are changed.

If an earthquake that has different kinds of waves that are all from the epicenter. With the creation of seismographs around the world, scientists can determine who waveseach party to a journey through the heart of the earth. By creating a database with many readings, an indication is that the basic structure. The speed that the waves are an indication of the elemental composition, and this is set by additional evidence of things such as volcanic emissions, material available under the earth's crust to the surface.

In general, however, speculate broadly trained, and the exact center of the earth is not yet known.

Scientists not only to stay and think about these things than to believe the word "that he used. Our understanding of the Earth is indeed our understanding of seismic waves. P and S waves or body waves are the result of an earthquake. P-waves or primary waves can pass through liquids, the secondary waves or S waves can not. S-waves can not pass through the center of the earth, so that is how we know it is a liquid.
Secondly, the Earth has a magnetic field that surrounds him. In similar studies conducted in the laboratory, we found that heavy metals such as iron in the movement were able to produce similar magnetic fields. Much more can be said about this, but I'll be there end.

Wow, so many answers.

We know that the Earth's core is solid due to seismic waves. There are 2 types of P-waves and S waves long story short, is the wave velocity, the density of matter and the material is the core of the earth is too close to a liquid. We know that the outer core is liquid because S-waves can not travel through them.

We know what kind of metal, because the proxy data from meteorites. Mixed, the majority of stony meteorites, some rock and metal, and some that are just made of metal. These relate to the mantle, a mixing zone between the mantle and the core and the core.

withxXEm0 爱 PandAXx is the only one here with the right answer.

Although this chapter speaks of seismic waves is reasonable that it has nothing to do with the kernel (the rise and fall of temperature in the magma source of pressure on the shelf above - the waves do not change) the core.
